Thank you to everyone who sent in their questions on Instagram — I love hearing from all of you and I wish I could answer every question. Answering five of the most asked below :)

FYI I will be doing this at the end of every month so make sure you’re following my personal account on Instagram @jessegolden and subscribe to my email list HERE so you don't miss your question potentially being answered!

Q1: What is the difference between Womb Wisdom and Goddess Shaping Body Oil?

Womb Wisdom is pregnancy and breastfeeding-safe, offering gentle skin toning and nourishment for every day. On the other hand, Goddess goes beyond, enhancing skin strength and elasticity while delving deeper to detoxify. It not only minimizes stretch marks and cellulite, but it also supports overall metabolic function for a more targeted, comprehensive skin transformation.

Q2: What time of the day is best to use red light therapy?

Whether it's a revitalizing boost in the morning or a calming ritual in the evening, incorporating red light therapy into your routine is what matters most. With nearly two decades of personal experience in red light therapy, I've adhered to guidelines from industry pioneers.

A crucial aspect is applying it to clean, dry skin. While trendy TikTok videos may showcase the therapy with products, it's important to note that this might not only deflect the red light but could also lead to hyperpigmentation.

For optimal effectiveness, I recommend using red light therapy every other day. This interval, as advised by industry experts, is considered more beneficial than daily use, as it prevents potential counterproductivity to the healing process. Consistency, coupled with the right practices, ensures you harness the full potential of red light therapy for a radiant and healthy glow.

This is the one I use and love

Q3: Why did you choose sunflower oil for the main ingredient in your lip balm?

Sunflower oil helps to strengthen the skin barrier. This means it will help limit water loss and protect your lips from environmental stressors.

But not all sunflower oil is created equal. We use high-oleic sunflower oil, which is made from sunflower seeds that have been bred to be high in oleic acid (a monounsaturated fatty acid) and low in linoleic acid (a polyunsaturated fatty acid). There is a minimum of 80% oleic acid in high-oleic sunflower oil. In comparison, traditional sunflower oil (oleic & linoleic) has less oleic acid at around 20%, and I would never use it.
The distinction lies in the robust composition of high-oleic sunflower oil, with the highest monounsaturated fats among vegetable oils. This not only positions it as a superior choice for health-conscious individuals but also imparts remarkable stability and the most nourishing. Our lip balm is simply divine. Once you try it, you'll know what I mean.

Q4: What is the best step-by-step routine for acne?

I recommend that anyone dealing with an acne flare-up reset their skin with our Clear Confident Skin Kit. For the first 30 days, cleanse with Heal All Oil, use the cloths to gently rinse off, mist with Aura Beauty Mist then while the skin is still damp, reapply the Heal All Oil as a moisturizer. Do this until the skin has calmed down, then you can start incorporating other products like the Instant Glow Facial Mask and Youth Beauty Face Oil.

Q5: Advice on skin feeling very dry when using the OCM method, Heal All Oil and Youth Beauty Face Oil?

The skin should feel soft and nourished after oil cleansing so there could be an unknown allergy or other contributing factor at play but try these tips to get the most out of oil cleansing and your overall skincare routine:

1) Only cleanse at night. In the morning simply rinse with cool water and/or clean the sleep from your eyes with our Glowing Facial Cloths.

2) To cleanse, apply Heal All Oil to dry skin then get your fingertips a little wet and work the oil into the skin. Massage into problem areas that tend to congest and have dryness. Get your Glowing Facial Cloth nice and wet with warm, not hot water and gently remove the oil from your skin. Repeat this step one or two more times if you are wearing makeup.

3) Here is one of the most important parts. Mist the face with Aura Beauty Mist. This hydrates the skin 5x more than hyaluronic acid, then while the skin is still damp, apply Youth Beauty Face Oil.

*This is key: never apply oil to dry skin, unless it is to cleanse. You need both hydration and moisture for the skin to be optimally healthy. Aura is a hydrosol (water) and Youth Beauty moisturizes (oil)
